My American Idols!

The kids just loved to sing and dance every week when American Idol was on.

They definately have some awesome moves, watch out Britney Spears!

Hospital Pictures

One of two pictures I have with both of their eyes open! Brielle (left) looks just like Ethan when he was a baby. Ashlyn looks just like Lydia when she was an infant. They are the best little babies, we are all so in love with them!

Getting ready for their first car ride! They look so teeny in those carseats. Leaving the hospital, Ashlyn (orange carseat) weighed 5 lbs 9 oz and Brielle weighed 5 lbs 15 oz.

And here is the second picture with their eyes open. Can you tell which baby is Ashlyn and which one is Brielle?! They sure love their binks. I love their little feminine hands.

So tired! Having naps on Mom. I can't get enough of these tinies!

Our family of 6, holy cow! Sorry your eyes are closed Babe. He started calling the girls "Tiny One" and "Tiny Two." Now he calls them both "Tiny Twos." There is nothing more attractive than Jared showing affection toward our kids. I am one lucky woman, that's for sure.

They are so precious. We are in heaven holding and loving on them all day long.

5-17-09, only one more day!

It's a girl thing! Katie, me, Becca, and Fran.

Holy Belly! 37 weeks. We will be at the hospital in about 4 hours, of course I can't sleep. Just "two" excited and "two" uncomfortable! (That's for Jared!)

Hogle Zoo~Spring Break

Lydia, Jaden, and Ethan on the train. Jadens mom had just had her new baby so we kidnapped him and went and played at Hogle Zoo. We met Brittany and her kids there, but by the time we got up there, they were about ready to go home. We had a fun visit anyways!

On the carousel. They had lots of fun. This was the only nice day of the whole spring break so I am happy we took advantage of it.

5 more days!

I had my amniocentesis on Monday and their lungs are still a little immature. According to the ultrasound, one baby is 6 lbs, and the other baby is 5 lbs 13 oz. The technician said the weights aren't as accurate as before since they are bigger and harder to measure. So, I guess we will have to see next Monday, May 18th. The C section is scheduled for 7:30am. We are so excited to meet our little girls, Ashlyn Marie and Brielle Mae.

Happy Mothers Day!

My mom just emailed this pics she took earlier today and I thought I better post them now or it might not get done for a while! I am so blessed to have such an awesome husband that loves me and would do anything for me.

My little princess. She insisted on wearing one of the babies hair bows today because it was "pink-a-licious." So thanks Melissa for making these bows for the babies, hopefully Lydia didn't stretch it out too much! Her new favorite thing to say is.. "I'm just fine."

Cheeser! 36 weeks and 1 day! I have my amnio Mon. morning, and if both babies lungs are developed, my C section is scheduled for Wed. morning! Yahoo!

There's the fellar playing a little basketball. He was showing us some of his cool tricks he can do. I can't believe he is going to be 6 in 3 weeks. He made me a really cool pendant for moms day at school. It has a picture of a rainbow and a unicorn and it says "I love mom."

Ethan has already mastered the monkey bars, Dad gave him a tip a week ago to swing when he did them and now he's got it down.

Lydia couldn't be happier going down the slide. Her favorite thing to do by far is to swing, she could swing her little heart out, and it is never high enough for this girl.
