Bella Roos

Having fun in the box....

until Belle decides she needs to bite Ash.

Ashlyn just loves hats! We were playing Elefun one day, she thought the butterfly net was a hat.
Watch out for Brielle! She's thinking up her next plan of attack!

Awe. So in love! How did I get so lucky?

My lil' hot cocoa lovers. They would drink hot cocoa in the summer if I'd let them!

We are still alive 3-11-11!

Here is a quick update of our family!

Jared: One word. AMAZING! He is such a hard worker, at work and at home. He picks up the girls from daycare everyday after working, picks up the messes we made in the morning getting ready, and usually takes care of dinner as well. His current "project" is tearing out our bathrooms and putting in tile and new vanity tops. I love that he is always so busy. We all reap the benefits!

Angie: One word. BUSY. Not only physically, but mentally. When I'm not doing homework, I am thinking about it. I am super excited to do 3 weeks of student teaching at Ridgeline Elementary. Then, just 2 weeks of papers and finals and the summer will begin! I can't wait to play with the kids and keep up on "mom" stuff.

Ethan: One word. PAIN. All the sudden Ethan thinks he is the most picked on kid EVER. Maybe being the only boy is wearing on him. It's a hard life I'm sure. He does well in school, and loves to read. He read 160 pgs. of Diary of a Wimpy Kid in one day. He is now working on the DWK Journal, but he calls it a Diary. He even wrote a note and taped it to his journal. "Let's get one thing strate, this is a diary, not a journal." He cracks me up. He especially takes great joy in bugging Lydia. Telling her she has a "boyfriend" and spitting water in her face (but it was an accident). Anyways, I love the fellar.

Lydia: One word. ANGEL. Seriously, do I know this girl? She makes me so happy. She is the first one up everyday and is so independent. I can already tell she is going to be a great mom. If you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up, it's a princess, a mom, and a doctor. We'll see if that is still the case when she finds out how much school she has to do. She is so concerned about the well being of her sisters. Anytime Brielle is on the counter, she lets me know with a scream. She cleans her room, reads books to the babies, and is just my little sweetheart. This morning she was asking about a new girl that moved in across the street. I told her the Mom's name and then she said so "the girl" is THE sweetheart! She assumed because I call her sweetheart, that all daughters are sweethearts. Love her.

Ashlyn: SAUCY. She is a little parrot these days. Loves to say "geez dad" and make goofy faces. She is starting to stand up to her "sis, shis" and will occasionally give her a smack when needed. We are so lucky to have this little blessing in our fam.

Brielle: GOOFBALL. She is non-stop. If she isn't on the counter she is busy tearing up something. I love that she has to hold her belly button when she drinks her "baba." She is talking a little bit more, but mostly just smiles her big Belle smile that gets her out of trouble.
