Two much fun!

Okay, well most of you have heard the whole "Dr" story but just for my personal record I am writing it down anyways!

Tuesday, November 18 our day was pretty much the same morning routine as all mornings. We sleep in until 8am, Ethan comes and snuggles and we talk about our dreams. Lydia will start yelling from her crib for us to come get her, although she has one of those toddler cribs where she is able to get out on her own if she wants to. Then we will watch morning cartoons for an hour and wake up all the way!! We all shower/bathe and get ready. I puke, Ethan has started to ask what color my throw up is, Tuesday it was clear, (just water!) Lydia and I walk Ethan to the bus at 11:55, then we load up and she goes to play at Matildes for a few hours. I had Math and Education class and got out at 3. In the meantime, Jared checks Ethan out of school early so he and Lydia can come listen to the baby's heartbeat. So my appointment was scheduled at 3:10 but by the time I filled out all the paperwork (forgot how tedious that is!) and it was my turn to go back, Lydia had fallen apart in the waiting room (according to Jared, falling apart is sitting on the seat and then getting off, and then getting on, so forth.) Like most hubbys, he thought Lydia was bugging other patients so he took her home. She ended up falling asleep on the way home so I guess she was tired! So anyhow, now it is just me and Ethan!

Now to the good stuff! My doctor has an ultrasound machine at his office every Tuesday so he was checking the heartbeat with that so Ethan could see it. I was telling him how I didn't want to find out the sex of the baby because I thought it would be a fun surprise but that Jared thought I was lame for not wanting to find out. He then said, "I think I have a bigger surprise for you. ..... I see 2 heartbeats." I didn't really believe it at first. I made him show me the 2 heartbeats and I convinced myself it was just one. He then showed me the 2 little buttons on the screen and then I knew there were 2. Wow, they were so cute. One of them was moving around (Jareds convinced this is a sassy girl!) and the other little peanut was sleeping (Jareds convinced this is a calm boy!) We'll see, maybe it is the other way around! It is still too early to tell the sex's since I am just 13 weeks today. My next appointment is when I am 17 weeks, so we may be able to tell then, I'm hoping anyways, it would be fun to find out on Christmas!

The initial shock has worn off a little and we are super excited! Ethan wants to see the babies everyday and he gives them 2 kisses. Now Lydia follows his lead and does the same. It is going to be so fun when they are here, but we will enjoy the time they spend in my belly as well. I am hoping to finish out next semester with them growing healthy and strong inside! Jared left me a cute note the other day and called me "Super Preggo!" I thought it was cute. Anyways, have a great weekend. We are cooking a Turkey dinner tonight and then I am going to a late showing of the Twilight movie with some friends from the ward. I have some cute pics of the kids to post, but Jared has to help me do that still, I will learn sooner or later!

Tagged by Katie Bobadie!

1. Where did you meet your husband? ON A BLIND DATE! I was 18, working at Albertsons, and Brittany set me up with her boyfriend, (hubby now!) Scott's friend, whose name was Shaggy!! All of his friends called him Shaggy, so when I would call his house I would ask for Shaggy, I couldn't remember his real name, so I had to look at his Drivers License to find out his real name is really Jared!
2. How long did you date before you got married? 3 years, 2 months!
3. How long have you been married? 7.5 years!
4. What does he do that surprises you? He is quite the cleaner and isn't afraid to help keep the house clean, he also loves to cook on Fridays and Saturdays which I love! He and Ethan love to surprise me with flowers here and there, that is always fun!
5. What is your favorite feature of his? His sexy shoulders and muscly arms! I've also always loved his eyes and am thankful our kids inherited his and his moms beautiful eyes.
6. What is your favorite quality of his? He is a hardworkin' man. He is also very humble which I have always admired.
7. Does he have a nickname for you? Not really, we call each other "BABE." I know, kinda silly, he used to call me "sexy thing" but hasn't for a while, maybe I should hit the gym!!!
8. What is his favorite food? Anything his Mom makes, I try to copy her recipes but for some reason they just aren't as good! He loves a good roast and potato meal, he isn't too picky which I love, because I am all about the quick and easy meals. Couldn't do it without Costco!
9. What is his favorite sport? I know rock climbing used to be, am assuming it still is, but he can hold his own in any sport we play with the fam, he is pretty good at whatever he plays!
10. When and where did you first kiss? It seemed like forever! I didn't think he liked me for the longest time because we would always hang out at Scott and Brittanys, watch movies, cuddle, he was pretty quiet, therefore, pretty hard to read! I think his friends had to tell him he needed to bust a move after a few months and he finally kissed me one night when he walked me out to my car. It was a pretty sloppy first kiss, but we got better as time went on!! Love ya babe!
11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple? We love to vacation together and with family, we always enjoy a fun night out, dinner, movie, etc. etc.!
12. Do you have children? Ethan and Lydia, and one on the way!
13. Does he have any hidden talents? He is an awesome snowboarder, motorcycler, and would win if there was ever a Caulking contest!!
14. How old is he? 31 and as handsome as ever!
15. Who said I love you first? I can't remember! I think it may have been on my 19th bday when we went camping up Maple Canyon. I'm sure I thought it for a while, but waited for himto say it, isn't that how it always goes?!
16. What is his favorite music? Stuff you can't understand or make out the words to! I guess it helps him get his work done faster but nothing I want our kids ever listening to! Just kidding, we have a few bands we can both tolerate, Green Day, DMB, and a few others!
17. What do you admire most about him? I love how he loves me and the kids. He is so thorough in all he does, he is simply amazing!
18. What is his favorite color? Blue and Green I think!
19. Will he read this? Probably.
20. Who do you tag? I tag Mandy Hatch, Dawn Warnick, and whoever else that wants to play! It was pretty fun!!

Sorry, I am a little slow!

Okay! I tried to write by the pictures but I am not quite up to par with the blog details quite yet. Jared and I just picked out a few of our favorite summer pictures to catch up to speed. We had a lot of fun. The pics of us are in New York and Bermuda. I earned a cruise from selling Stampin' Up! products. Thanks to our parents for watching the kiddos while we were gone for 10 days enjoying life! We had fun in Park City with Todd and Fran and everyone, that was a good time. This was our funnest year in Lake Powell, the kids had a blast, they were the perfect age. I was able to potty train Lydia when we got home, it was really easy since she didn't wear a diaper all day in Powell. Jared loves to take the kids up AF canyon while I do my stamp classes, he is so awesome. One night he took Bolt, our dog up there as well, and he got lost. That was a sad few days. I ended up finding him at the Lindon pound so that was happy! Jared took Ethan on the deer hunt this year for the first time. They had lots of fun with Grandpa Todd, Troy, Chris, and his boy, Scott. They missed Austen this year, but will be excited when he gets home from his mission to go again. Lydia was the cutest Tinkerbell, she had fun saying Trick or Treat and following the kids to the door. Ethan was Incredible Hulk during the day, but afterschool said the costume was "too itchy and I never want to wear it ever again!" So, we rummaged through some past Halloween costume and he picked a Pirate Bones Man, a combination of 2 costumes! Well, I guess it is time to do Math homework, gotta love it! Adios.
