This Girl...

Lydia is the silliest little thing. She knows what she wants and thinks she knows how to get it! (Not digging her new eye roll and occasional full body shake). She says the funniest things all day long. She needs something every 5 minutes whether it is a snack, drink, bum wiped, toy, play a game, help mom, whatever. She is one high maintenence girl. She will talk to Ethan like she is the Mom and I have to remind her that she is a sister, not a parent! She loves to lip sync in the car to "New York" by Alicia Keyes and Jay Z. I survive most days with the Lydi Bug but my patience sometimes falls short! Anyways, I love this girl to pieces and couldn't imagine my life with out her.

She loves fruit but hates cheese.

Her long, pretty hair that took at least 30 minutes to brush all the tangles out everyday!

And her cute, shorter, but still kinda long hair. It is so much easier to manage now. LOVE it.
Lydia loves to play in the babies cribs with them when they wake up, well, Jared came home from work one day and said she couldn't anymore. So the next day, she told me they were awake from their nap and she was going to play in their "lib." I said, Daddy doesn't want you to do that anymore. She replied, "it's okay, I will just sneak!"
She also asked me the other day.. "How much longer until I can marry Ethan?" I had to break the news to her that you can't marry your brothers, cousins, uncles, etc. Darn it! She does love Ethan to pieces and they are the best of friends.

Randoms!

This Dad just loves his girls. He kinda has a favorite though. Try and guess who! Lydia, Ashlyn, or Brielle?

Me and Ethan went out on a "hot date" to see his school play, The Jungle Book. It was so much fun. I wanted Ethan to try out for it but he didn't want to, then 2 minutes into it, he said he wished he would have! Oh well. They will do another one in 2 years.

"The sisters." (Formally known as the tinies!!) Yes, they have mastered the stairs, going both up and down. They are getting easier and harder all at the same time!

More of March

They played and played on the T.P. for days on end. Always fun to have a new "toy" to fight over!!

Ethan and his sweet car for the Drive In movie at school. All he wanted were "flames" on it. I think Jared did a great job!

This little girl is LOVING her dance class.

Lydia loves taking everyone for a spin. Her and Nixon had a complete ball!

What cute girlies. We love it when Olivia comes to play.

Family Fun

Becca and Levi planned a quick trip to Utah during their Spring break. It was so fun to hang out and let the kids play.

And it was so fun to snuggle little Brig. He is just too cute. It was hard not to pinch!

Ethan learning how to ride his motorcycle. I've never laughed so hard, watching Jared teach him and run laps around the backyard. It was quite entertaining!

I love my kiddos and hubby.

Okay so for the past few years we have gotten together with my siblings and had a Ping pong tournament. Well, this year, my brother Stephen had a trophy made (hilarious in itself) and it will rotate around to whoever wins. Jared took Gold in 2009 but he just couldn't live up to the high expectations this year. Brian claimed the 2010 title. Now that the trophy is involved, everyone is going to be stepping up their game for 2011. My mom even bought a ping pong table so the kids could practice. Hilarious I tell ya.

Ice Fishing... Brr.

The boys, Ethan, Grandpa, and Jared. This is when they went in January and the pics below are from March. Ice fishing doesn't even sound remotely fun to me, so have at it boys!

Elijah and Ethan. They caught some serious air sledding. Elijah was left with a big ol' bruise for quite sometime! They were quite the speedsters.

Yikes, ice in the hair just from walking?!

One of Todd's FIVE fish. Poor Jared didn't have any luck that day!

My Sweethearts in March

Little Ash making as big of a mess as she can! When she is getting into my scrapbooking stuff or making a mess, I say "ASH" and she will give me this look everytime and jibber jabber baby talk back to me like she is justifying what she is doing. Hilarious. I love it!
Belle with her mohawk down apparently! She is so fast at crawling, I never thought she would want to play with the walker toy. But she just runs and runs and crashes into the walls. Anytime she hears a door shut or the gate open or close, she is right there trying to escape! She is such a ham.

Ethan asked me one morning when it had snowed a ton if he could go shovel. Of course I agreed. He had been out there about 10 min and I couldn't hear the usual scraping of the cement sound. So I went out to see what he was doing and he was shoveling out the trailor! That kid cracks me up. Then he was too tired to do the driveway and sidewalk, but that is OK because I don't mind shoveling snow!

This girl is such an outdoor girl. The moment she wakes up she wants a treat and to play outside, she usually wants chocolate milk in a sippy cup too! ( I know she is too old for a sippy but I don't care, it never spills anywhere!) The snow doesn't stop her from wanting to play outside all day. And yes, she is wearing 2 different boots and probably no socks as well!
