I love this man...

He is quite the man. He watches the kids while I go to school after working all day, he's not afraid to cook and clean, and is the best chef you could ask for.

And to top that, he loves the outdoors, takes pride in his yard, and would do anything for me and the kids. Jared is so handsome, loving, and hardworking. I couldn't imagine me without him!

Oct. 2009

The fellar on his way to the deer hunt. He ended up getting sick and didn't even get to stay a night. I would have missed him too much anyways!

Lydia had her preschool mascot, Lizzie the Lizard for a week. We took her everywhere with us. They had a good time jumping around at Kangaroo Zoo.

Briellee Belly chillin' in her beloved bouncer.

Ashlyn Angel loves to snuck her thumb. I love it.

Our little snuggle bugs are such a delight, well, most of the time anyway!!

The Tinies~Sept. 2009

" Word up. Just chillin' in our bumbos for the first time. I don't think Brielle thinks it is as cool as I do!"

I love their faces! They are funny tinies. Ashlyn is crying this time.

I love these kiddos. Especially when they aren't bickering with each other!

As much work as these little girlies are, I wouldn't trade it for anything. Just look at those faces, I just want to squeeze and kiss em all over!

Can this little red head get any cuter? I don't think so! She is always on the go, making a new pile of 'stuff' in every room!

Jared feeding Ethan the babies' leftover mush. He wouldn't budge a bite. Oh well.

At Ashlyn and Brielle's 4 month check up. I love my girls.

Grandma Doris with the babies. She is so helpful whenever she comes over. She will take care of the babes, make beds, laundry, you name it, she does it! I couldn't do school without the help from all the grandmas!

We attempted the Bumbos to feed them mush for the first time. I don't think they were quite ready, kind of flopped around. But they sure looked cute anyways!

First day of School

Lydia on her first day of preschool. She is such a ham. The past few times UPS has brought me a package she has gotten the door says, "Mommy, you have a delivery." She is such a little mommy to the tinies and to Ethan! Her new thing is to say "SEEEE." She will ask me a random question and then tell Ethan, "SEE." Me and Ethan don't know what she is talking about, but I guess she does in her little mind!!

Ashlyn after her tubbers. I love this happy baby. Lydia will say, "the big eyed baby rolly poly."

Brielle after her tubbers. This tiny loves to eat her toes. Lydia calls Brielle "the spitty up girl."

Ethan on his first day of school. This fellar LOVES school. He comes home, washes his hands, has an afternoon snack and tells me about the fun things they do in first grade. He also tries to teach Lydia everything he knows, about the sounds letters make in a word. I think it is cute even though Lydia has no idea what he is explaining. Of course Lydia will tell him "I know" since 3 year olds know everything!

Lydia loves Miss Kristi. Although she calls her "Miss Listi." She has had a lisp since she started talking and has a hard time with her K sounds. When we practice she says, "Kah Kah, Lib (for Crib) and Kah Kah, Listi." I need some new ideas on how to practice some sounds with her because now she thinks it is funny.

September 2009

The tinies getting out of their car seats to stretch out with their handsome Dad.

Suz and I stampin' it up in St. George!

Ash and Belle, my little kung fu fighters in their cute hats.

Ethan is the best corn shucker, he gets every last piece of string off. Oh, how we will miss the yummy summer corn with every meal!

Molly and Lydia. She is just like her daddy and loves all her animals.

Kids ~ October 28, 2009

Okay, I have tried to upload some pictures 10 times in the last month and it keeps giving me the same dang error. I have refreshed the page, restarted my computer, and will try to randomly throughout the day. I've decided blogger must not like me. Anyways, things have been crazy, busy, and fun. I am just going to journal a little bit about each of our adorable children.

ETHAN: This little fellar just knows how to make my day. He randomly says the cutest things, he just makes me melt! He is also very cooky and very smart. (Don't all moms think their kids are smart!!?) He tells me all the time how he loves school. He has amazing writing and reading skills for a first grader. He loves to play catch and hit balls with his Dad. He loves playing Wii games, mostly Mario ones. He is the best older brother to Lydia, always teaching her things and explaining the tiniest details to her. Ethan loves his baby sisters, always looking out for them. When his friends come over, he tells them that they have to wash their hands. He recently declared Tuesdays as "Peanut Butter cookie day." Although we haven't followed through with it, something always seems to come up. I love my Ethan boy.

LYDIA: This little muffin is Mommys biggest helper. She loves to entertain the babies, putting blankets on them, talking in her cute baby voice, playing with their toys, and just making sure they are okay. She told me yesterday, "Mom, that baby is freaking out, the one with the BIG eyes!" Hilarious, I tell ya. She just LOVES preschool. I was debating putting her in this year and am so glad I did. She is so happy going, and so happy when I pick her up. She is gaining her independance more and more each day. She loves to snuggle at bedtime, and come morning, she wants to snuggle both babies in her bed. Lydia loves her dollys, coloring, helping Mom 'stamp it' and playing games with her big brother. I just love this girl.

ASHLYN: This tiny is not so tiny anymore. She has some mean thighs and the cutest double chin you'd ever see! She has the cutest laugh and just lights up a room with her twinkly eyes and smile. She loves to roll over. Lydia says, "Look Mom, she roly poly again." She loves to grab anything within her reach. Ash normally has a fistful of my hair wrapped into her chub nubber fingers. She has broken 2 teeth on the bottom and thinks I am her teether. She keeps biting me and I have flicked her a couple times, but it makes me feel bad. Any suggestions? This little angel is usually mellow and chill, will always pass her turn to eat because Brielle screams louder, and gets distracted by any noise and will have to LOOK with her BIG eyes! She is definitely my little night owl baby, goes to bed late and is bright eyed in the middle of the night for hours too. I am thinkin' she is going to be my little stamp assistant in the wee hours!

BRIELLE: This tiny is such a ham. She loves to be held. She thinks she is always hungry. So she eats and spits up constantly. She has an ear piercing cry BUT a smile just as loud! Lydia says. "Mom, this baby a talkin, talkin." She loves to jibber jabber. She sleeps ALOT more than Ash, thanks baby doll!! You can see the determination in her eyes as she scoots around and grabs toys. She is a grabby patty too. While Ashlyn has been growing teeth, this little sprout has been busy growing some hair. These little tinies love to sit by each other and play with each others hands. Belle is pretty chill too, she enjoys her bouncer and a tv show here and there (so does Ash)! We are so blessed to have these little tinies in our family. They bring all of us so much happiness and joy.

Park City~Aug 09

They really do love each other.

Caught Granny and Grandpa working out. Thanks for the good times, a fun and memorable week had by all.

Awwe! This girl loves her daddy. She will randomly just say, "I love you Daddy."

Brielle and Ashlyn did so good in Park City. They rolled with the punches for the most part. Only had one freak out one night for a little bit. It was so nice to have so many helping hands.

One night we took the bus over to Main Street. We decided instead of walking up and down it, we would ride the trolley. The kids loved it.

Happy, happy girls. They are such a blast.

Grandpa Todd took Ethan and Lydia on a walk one day. If you know Todd, he is a little bit random, anyways, he decided to have a picture drawn of them! Lydia looks like she is 16, but besides that, I thought it was pretty sweet. The cutest thing was Ethan had to keep looking at it throughout the week. Both him and Lydia love their Grandpa and their Grannie.

Getting ready for their daily swim.

Hangin' out by the pool. That grannie love those tinies. I mean really, how could you not?

Lydia, my Angel

Today Lydia was so good, normally she needs something every 2 minutes and every time I sit down to nurse the babies she will need a drink or some snack. So before I left for school tonight I said, "Lydia, thank you for being an angel, I just love you." She replies, "I am not an angel, my name is LYDIA." (all in her sassy voice) Guess I should have just kept my thoughts to myself. Oh well. She will always be my angel, whether she knows it or not. I snapped these pictures in my neighbors yard at the end of May after we walked Ethan to the bus stop. I love this girl, no matter how many gray hairs she gives me in the future...

Quote I liked!

Sorry, no pictures, but I was reading my friend, Chelseas blog and stumbled upon this quote and loved it so I thought I would share for all my girlfriends:

"Women of God can never be like women of the world. The world has enough women who are tough; we need women who are tender. There are enough women who are coarse; we need women who are kind. There are enough women who are rude; we need women who are refined. We have enough women of fame and fortune; we need more women of faith. We have enough greed; we need more goodness. We have enough vanity; we need more virtue. We have enough popularity; we need more purity."~Margaret Nadauld

So there you go, hope you have a happy day.

July Pictures!

Okay, so I am slightly behind in my blogging world! Instead of making lots of posts, I decided to choose a few of my favorite pics taken in July. I will have to do the same with my August pics to get caught up. Anyways, here is a cute one of the twins with Grandma Jean.

Here is Miss Lydia at the Cabin. She loves to go on motorcycle rides with Dad.

"Faster, Faster Daddy!"

At Grandma Lasca's in Bountiful for the awesome 24th of July fireworks. Everytime I looked at Ethan he was slurping down another popsicle. On the way home, I asked him how many he had. His reply, "I think maybe four, no wait, I had five!"

Hanging out, getting ready for Captain Jack to tell us stories and play the trumpet.

This is Jareds great grandma, Lasca Eyre, she is 92 I believe and as sharp as a whistle. Her friend, Captain Jack came and told us stories of war, played us songs on his trumpet, and had wonderful messages for everyone.

One Sunday morning we headed up AF Canyon to canoe around Tibblefork with the kids, Katie and Nix, and Fran and Todd. It was perfect weather and the kids had lots of fun.

So fun. Lydia had fun in the canoe and splashing around. Ethan caught a dead fish and had fun mutating it. Such a boy.

Ethan waiting his turn to hit the ball. He was so fun to watch. He would smack the plate 3 times before he held his bat up to swing.

My mom and Jareds mom holding the babes while watching Ethan play ball.

Michelle and I took Olivia, Vincent, and Ethan to 7 peaks for the day. So much fun going down the slides, playing in the wave pool, and watching the kiddos do tricks off the rope swing.

Vincent, Olivia, and Ethan waiting their turn for the lily pads!

Ethan just loves his sisters!

Ashlyn and Brielle at their 2 month check up. All their measurements were really close to each other. I am happy Jared was there to help me, I am a pathetic mom when it comes to shots.

Lydia loves her sisters too... a little too much! (If that is even possible!)
