August Happenings

The highlight of the night... the garden snake with Audrey and Abby!

Lydia's 2nd day of Kindergarten, Ethan's 2nd week!

LJ's first day, do you think she is excited?!

My big bed head girlies. Hanging out in underwear and "reading" coloring books!

Little spazzes. They sure have a lot of fun together. My hope is that they always stay best friends.

So fun to play on the stairs. And then on to tear apart a room...

Ethan's first day of 3rd grade. When you ask him how his day at school was, "It was excellent." His favorite subject is Math.

A Sunday afternoon up American Fork Canyon.

Kids Camp! Best. Money. Spent. All. Summer!

Knight and Princess day at Kids Camp.

Oopsie. Mom gets on the phone. Not paying attention. Leave it to the Tinies. Sprinkles ALL OVER everywhere. Still haven't replenished my supply, it's okay, no time to bake anyway!!

Can't believe our boy is in Scouts! His first pinewood derby and he almost missed it! He went to a bday party, they went swimming, thought they would be home by 6. Nope! Went to the Legacy center, not there, drove around trying to find him, calling the boys mom (no answer) Come to find out, they were at the Outdoor pool. Duh. Such chaos. But it all worked out in the end.

Vroom. Good Job Jared, oh wait, I mean Ethan.

Me and my girl. She is in to closing her eyes for pictures. Don't ask me why. I don't get it! Notice Ethan's bunny ears... that goofball.

Another one of her closing her eyes, this time it may be because of the sun! Ethan and his goggles, he loves to do tricks off the diving board. Swimming at Granny and Gpa Grapes.

My mom took her girls out to lunch to celebrate our birthdays. An annual tradition. Wish we got together more often. Love my sisters.

Ethan and Jared had a boys day up at Snowbird.

At the top with Clint and Keelan.

Oh Bobby Jo.
What a good sport you are!

Measuring popcorn for our popcorn balls. She loves to be in the kitchen. She told me yesterday while making soup, "I'm going to be such a good maker." Yes, I have to agree. She'll be an excellent "maker."

Happy girls making popcorn balls. I think I ate 1/2 of them. A fave for sure.

The day of the Hood Family Reunion. Took a little drive up the canyon so the babies would nap.

Bowling with Michelle and Bonnie and all the little rascals. Jared went golfing with the boys. Bonnie came here all the way from Wisconsin for the reunion (pregnant, what a trooper). It's funny how people who lived within a half hour couldn't make it a priority to come when others travel halfway across the country, use their vacation time, money, etc. Family is where it's at. I just love family time.
