I love Ethans expression in this photo. He liked to touch the fish but you can tell he is just a little unsure! Jared caught a total of 3 fish in about a 10-15 minute time frame. They were all this size, but of course he didn't keep them.

Ethan won the contest at school for wearing the most green. (Go figure!) He was so excited when he got home, but before school he was worried that his hair was "too messy." He likes it "flat!" That is his next door neighbor buddy, Jaden next to him, they play together every day after school. I wish Lydia had a little friend her age that lived close by. She just loves to go in the backyard and play with Bolt Dog and Molly (our springers). Maybe she will meet some new friends when she starts preschool in the Fall.

so the nursery looks like it's going to be so darling!! i LOVE beadboard. it's great that jared is such a handyman and that fran and todd were there to help too. make sure to post a picture of the finished product!:)
